David Perez Philanthropy and Disaster Relief
David Perez is a seasoned leader in orchestrating large-scale natural disaster relief efforts and rescue missions at ground zero. His passion for philanthropy drives him to be at the forefront of disaster response, coordinating relief and logistics operations for organizations such as NGO's, USAID, American Red Cross, FEMA, and the US Military.
Founder of The Coalition of Hope Foundation, Inc.
David Perez, was the sole founder of The Coalition of Hope Foundation, Inc. (previously 2 Life 18 Foundation, Inc. as stated in the GuideStar 2005 IRS 990 form) a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing global humanitarian assistance and disaster-relief support. Since 2005, COH has supported a wide range of life-saving missions. To pursue his other philanthropic ventures David stepped down from COH in 2019.

Hurricane Katrina Relief:
In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, David and COH organized and directed a $35 million relief effort, conducting 74 airlift missions to deliver over 1 million pounds of food, water, and medical supplies to the Gulf States.

Haiti Disaster Relief
COH spearheaded an 18-month, $110 million disaster-relief mission to Haiti after the devastating earthquake in 2010. Partnering with organizations like the American Red Cross, COH coordinated the delivery of over 5.2 million pounds of emergency aid.

Hurricane Sandy
Following Hurricane Sandy, David Perez led COH in coordinating relief efforts, partnering with organizations like the American Red Cross to deliver aid to the Rockaway Relief Effort. Their initiatives included distributing over 120,000 meals, 30,000 gallons of fuel, and 1,450 tons of supplies. Perez collaborated with local leaders to ensure support reached all affected areas, showcasing COH's commitment to long-term recovery.

Hurricane Irma Response
In 2017, David led an unprecedented FEMA Mission Assignment in response to Hurricane Irma, providing essential services such as meals, drinking water, healthcare, and emotional support to communities across the Florida Keys.

David Perez's impactful contributions have earned him recognition on national platforms, including being named one of the top 10 people in the world by A&E Network in 2005. He has received prestigious awards such as the Channel 10 News (ABC) 2005 Leader of the Year Award and the 2005 NAACP President's Award.
